FinBigTech advises the boards and executive teams of global platforms, financial institutions, and regulators navigating the intersection of fintech, payments, digital assets, and institutional governance.
Our engagements span Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, the CIS, and the Americas — across the institutions, regulators, and platforms that define the global financial infrastructure.
Digital commerce, travel, and classifieds platforms operating across 70+ countries — where payments, licensing, and regulatory complexity intersect at scale.
Regulated banking institutions, payment networks, and fintech infrastructure across the EU, CIS, Gulf, and growth markets undergoing digital transformation.
Development finance institutions, regulators, and multilateral networks — where governance, ESG, and financial inclusion meet institutional accountability.
Selected experience; representative, not exhaustive.
DORA's first supervisory enforcement cycle is underway across the EU, with national Register of Information deadlines now binding on financial entities. The NIS2 transposition deadline arrives in October 2026. Supervisors are conducting detailed audits of ICT third-party contracts, incident-reporting practices, and governance frameworks with unprecedented rigor. For boards and executive teams managing fintech partnerships, vendor relationships, or platform transformation, the consequences of inadequate governance preparation are no longer theoretical — they are being actioned.
Our advisory practice draws on direct experience inside the world's leading digital platforms and regulated financial institutions — across payments, licensing, governance, and large-scale transformation in over 30 markets globally. We advise platforms acquiring regulated capabilities, regulated banks becoming platform-driven, and the boards governing both.
FinBigTech was founded by Jil Ebanoidze, a payments and fintech executive whose career spans senior leadership roles at eBay, Booking.com, and Prosus — building, transforming, and regulating the financial infrastructure of some of the world's largest digital platforms across 30+ markets on five continents.
She now brings that operating experience into the boardroom — as Supervisory Board Member of Crystal Bank and Nominee Director within the IFC and FMO networks. A Harvard Business School alumna, former Chairwoman of the Global Impact Fintech (GIFT) Think Tank (2020–2026), and member of SER Topvrouwen in the Netherlands, she advises at the intersection of platform speed and institutional accountability.
